HEOSC is seeking experienced Out of School Child Care Workers.

Hours are Monday to Friday 2:00 to 5:30pm.

​

There are monthly planning sessions, monthly staff meetings, child minding opportunities, and some evening work for special events. This position is a contract from September 2023. 

​

This position plans and delivers quality child care services directly. HEOSC values quality programming, and as such, experience with child care programming is a strong asset.

​

HEOSC uses a Stations model. Staff are expected to offer varying choices for activities daily including arts & crafts, quiet activities, creative play, construction, outdoor/gym, and games.

​

Staff are expected to adhere to the society's plans and policies, and Child Care Licensing regulation requirements. The Child Care Workers report directly to the Out of School Care Supervisor.

​

Our after school care program runs out of 4 rooms with 20 children, and 2 staff in each. The programs are based out of Hillcrest Elementary.

​

Our ideal candidate is a positive, professional, and enthusiastic child care provider. The candidate is able to offer creative programming, excellent communication, and be both child and family focused. We are seeking team players who are safety conscious and able to work independently with children as well.
